Status Events

General

With a status event, you can trigger status functions and steps based on entries the system created. The entries can be created by a status function. After, the entries will be processed by a job queue.

Status Event Triggers

When searching for the Status Event Trigger List you can find an overview of all the Status Event triggers. Besides, you can create a new one and configure the settings based on the status, which functions needs to be executed. When you open a Status Event Trigger you can go to the Processing Entries for all entries coming from this Status Event Trigger as can be seen in the screenshot below. All entries have a particular status. If the status is New the Job queue still needs to process this Status Event Entry.

In the Linked Table Group tab, you configure all filters. So in the example below you process all functions and steps configured on status 40-STATUSEVENT in status template code STANDAARD.

For example, when my document is status 40-WAITING a Status Event Entry should be created because the status function is there configured. Processing this status event entry, will for example trigger the status functions configured on status 40-STATUSEVENT in the status template. You can add some table filters and criteria function sets on the status even triggers or the status function that creates the entry to specify your processes.
